BIO

My name is Nathan Leichner, and I’m a Visual Effects artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. My journey into VFX began in high school, where I worked on short films as an editor, learning the ropes of Premiere Pro and Photoshop. After graduation, I spent a year working at a stained glass studio in Knoxville, Tennessee, where I honed my craftsmanship in both the creation and restoration of stained glass windows. During that time, I also taught myself After Effects and Blender, which opened my eyes to the world of VFX as a viable career path. This realization led me to pursue formal education at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
Today, my primary focus lies in materials and textures, lighting, and procedural workflows. I’m passionate about what I do and driven by a constant desire to improve and push the boundaries of my craft.
